“Apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5)

Important people feel powerful because of their strength and intelligence or because they are rich. Even the average person might feel strong and that he needs nobody. But no one can do anything if the Lord does not give him the strength. God chooses and uses those who rely on him and not on themselves.

“God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world (1 Corinthians 1:27)
