For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16)
in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself (2 Corinthians 5:19)

The message here is clear. God loves you. Let yourself be loved. Christ came to restore a vital relationship between man and God, a relationship broken by sin. The invitation is to believe in Jesus Christ. To believe is to trust and to trust means establishing a relationship. If you accept this relationship with Jesus you receive eternal life here and now, not only after death. Not to accept Jesus is to exclude yourself from this new life. What is it going to be, life or death?
