unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God ... unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God (John 3:3, 5)
you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world (John 15:19)

Once baptised you are a newbie in Christ, you acquire a new life and a new identity as a citizen of the Kingdom. You are born again, from above. Baptism is your passport to the Kingdom. You are in the world but not of the world. You are in the world, journeying towards the Kingdom, where you now belong. Your focus is now on the final destination, the Kingdom of God, no longer on things and values of this world, no longer following the logic of this world.

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth (Colossians 3:2).
